• Construction of Highways 7.3 mile carriageway 2.5Km plus footpaths, cycleways and 4 No. new roundabouts.

• Roundabout connections onto existing Normanton bypass and construction of new roundabouts under live traffic conditions requiring traffic management and temporary diversions. New roundabout constructed under overhead HV cables.

• Construction of twin box culverts under existing live carriageway and phased diversions of existing services to enable construction works to proceed.

• Coordination of installation of new services to the scheme together with the diversion of existing services.

• Utilisation of GPS equipment and software to calculate cut and fill earthworks balances and trim formations with GPS controlled dozers to +/- 20mm.

• Significant drainage works and construction of significant water attenuation / balancing pond excavations and structures.
