Health & Safety

Health and Safety is an integral part of our daily business and we are actively committed to eradicating the incidence of accidents by continuous development, monitoring and training.

We have a number of vital processes in place to deliver our health and safety objectives and control health and safety risks. We work closely with our clients in a collaborative manner to ensure we provide an operation that is in line with industry best practise and is as safe as we can possibly make it.

Our zero tolerance approach to health and safety has over the years improved our reputation with clients, regulators and our own employees.

We directly employ a dedicated Health & Safety team; comprising of a full time Safety & Environmental Officer, Health & Safety managers, advisors and administrators all of whom are headed up by our Director of Health & Safety.

To maintain high standards, all managers and members of staff undergo regular health & safety courses and all of our operatives are CSCS accredited and in addition all of our plant operators are CPCS accredited.

Occupational Health

To ensure that our procedures are compliant with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent statutory regulations we promote a concept of 'wellness' as a preventative measure to address employee health.

As part of an overall strategy for occupational health management we have developed a healthy culture and adopted a systematic approach to occupational health working closely with our line managers and HR professionals to promote employee wellbeing and healthy living.
