Hewlett Continues to impress
Hewlett Civil Engineering is pleased to announce its continuing involvement with PROjEN, and Greenergy Terminals Ltd and their ongoing £multi-million investment programme in its UK fuel infrastructure.
The award winning Leeds-based company have been contracted by PROjEN to carry out the demolition of an existing Drum storage slab together with the installation of new foundations and associated drainage works to allow for an upgrade to an existing facility. It will be a state-of-the-art petrol and diesel blending storage facility in Teesside.
Hewlett have previously worked in conjunction with PROjEN on a major development programme at a fuel storage facility in Plymouth - in line with Buncefield recommendations they installed significant bund wall to meet the requirements for the Terminal Operator.
Again on behalf of Greenergy Terminals, Hewlett are contracted to provide a schedule of works for a road loading and fuel blending project at the site in Teesside. This will include the provision of approximately 3000m2 of road loading slab, upstands and various plinths for future specialist equipment, in addition to the provision of approximately 500m2 of slab for Vapour Recovery Unit Slab, plus pipe bridge foundations - including holding down bolts – and the construction of a Switchroom and two substations.
The total value of the scheme is £500,000.
