Hewlett exhibiting at RenewableUK International Small Wind Conference for first time
Hewlett Civil Engineering will be exhibiting for the first time at RenewableUK’s International Small Wind Conference taking place at The Sage, Gateshead on the 5th and 6th of April , and using the event to officially launch its Renewables Division.
Around 700 people are expected to attend RenewableUK's third annual event dedicated to International Small Wind System Development. The conference will address the latest policy and technical developments in small wind systems and up to 50 companies active in the sector will be on display at the accompanying exhibition.
Says Alan Cooper, Managing Director of Hewlett Civil Engineering: “The event is the perfect platform for Hewlett to officially launch the Renewables Division and it also provides us with an opportunity to meet key individuals and companies in the renewable sector and introduce our services. We are looking forward to meeting visitors in what promises to be an interesting and busy couple of days.”
Hewlett Renewables is already involved in a range of renewable energy projects, from the construction of bases and access roads to a remote Western Scottish location for a new wind farm, to installing and modifying highways infrastructure for a major power line on behalf of Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission Limited (SHETL) and Southern Energy Power Distribution
The business is also working in partnership with Sykamore Ltd, a company dedicated to optimising small-wind generation projects through expert site design and turbine selection. The alliance with Sykamore offers a complete package for landowners wishing to reap the benefits of small-wind including a zero-capital option for those looking to lower their energy bills without having to invest.
Representatives from Hewlett and Sykamore will be available on stands 6 and 40 at the exhibition. For more information about Hewlett visit www.hewlett.co.uk
