Scheme Outline: The main aspects of the works comprised: remediation of the entire area, removing all below ground structures, uncompacted construction waste, notifiable waste materials, removal and crushing of concrete and blacktop materials, and removal of asbestos from all existing buildings, summarised below.
Hewlett Civil Engineering Ltd. Undertook all of the works and worked closely with the consultants to develop robust strategies for remediation delivered in line with regulations and to programme. All materials (except for untreated water) were treated and remained on site.

- Removal of contaminated perched ground water and on site treatment of contaminated soils adjacent to site boundaries.
